The Greene County Suicide Prevention Coalition will host a training, “Question. Persuade. Refer.”, Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 1 to 2:30 pm at the Greene County Extension office, 104 W. Washington St, Jefferson.
All community members can play a role in identifying those who may be struggling with mental health challenges including thoughts of suicide. The QPR training with Anthony Santiago, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach human sciences specialist in family wellbeing, will provide ways to identify those at risk and assist in connecting them to resources.
